Rainy Days

I love warm rainy days
Rain beating against the window panes
The gentle rain makes me feel
So warm, safe and comfortable

Giving me gentle peace within myself
Listening to the gentle pit-er-pat
On the roof and window panes
Making me feel tranquil and content

Rainy days bring back fun memories
Walking in a warm gentle rain
With a loved one or special friend
While spending special time together

Playing in the rain with children
Laughing and giggling having fun
Walking through mud puddles
Getting cooled off when it is to warm

There are so many marvelous memories
With loved ones, we shared in the rain
That my heart will always remember
Every wonderful memory when it rains
