Jesus our sweet Savior is Thanksgiving,

Bestowing whole life is His gift,

Cherished is His love and His forgiving,

One day to heaven we He'll lift.



Great is the compassion of our sweet Lord,

Let us give Him our love with praise,

Oh He's the Good Shepherd of His Adored,

And we will be His all our days.


We thank Jesus as His blessings behold,

His Presence in Glory's Fragrance,

Thanksgiving brings His Countenance,

Sweetly His promises unfold.



Gather 'round Jesus on Thanksgiving Day,

He's the sustenance in our lives,

Filling our hunger and thirst for His Way,

Yes everyone with Jesus thrives.
