". . . And I
will make of thee a great nation,
and I will
bless thee,
and make thy
name great;
and thou
shalt be a blessing:
And I will
bless them that bless thee,
and curse him
that curseth thee:
and in thee
shall all families
of the earth
be blessed."
Genesis 12:2-3
Blessed to
Bless Others
What a
wonderful promise God gave to Abraham.
"I will bless
you . . . and you will be a blessing."
God blesses us
too that we may bless others.
Can we hear?
Let us listen
to others with a sympathetic ear.
Can we speak?
May our words
be formed in a constructive way,
to enrich and
help build self-esteem.
Are we blessed
in a material way?
Let us share
our possessions and be generous.
Are we skilled
with a talent?
May we use our
God-given ability
to improve the
lives of others.
Are we healthy?
May we assist
the frail and sickly,
as we benefit
those by praying for them.
Have we in time
of trouble and sorrow
experienced the
help of God
and the love of
people?
Let us share
the strength and support
we have
received,
showing
understanding to people
who are
troubled.
Let us tell how
God has sustained us
in time of
difficulty.
All of us have
been blessed in some way.
May we, in
turn, be a blessing.
May the good
Lord help you
to touch others
lives with His goodness.

Dictated Them"
